Didier Vye

Didier Vye is an associate professor in geography and a member of the Joint Research Center CNRS/La Rochelle University « Littoral, Environnement et Sociétés » (UMR 7266 LIENSs). The main topic of his research is to interrogate the « Sustainable City » paradigm in a coastal context. He studies the link between uses and representations of people living in the coastal zone and public policies in these specific territories. His research contributes to the understanding of coastal zones issues, such as the tension between attractiveness and vulnerability or social and environmental inequalities.
