Matthieu Adam

Matthieu Adam is postdoctoral researcher at LAET (Transport, Urban Planning and Economics Laboratory). He works on the influence of environmental issues on the production of space and on urban social practices. His research focuses jointly on the actions and representations of producers and users of the contemporary city. After studying the contradictions between rhetoric and pragmatics of sustainable urban planning, he is now investigating active mobility, and more particularly cycling. He leads the CyclOPs research group (https://cyclops.hypotheses.org).
