Michel Grimaldi

Michel Grimaldi is an agronomist specialized in soil science. Director of research at the Institute of Research for Development (IRD) until 2016, he was related to the Paris Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences (iEES Paris). He has since retired. He has participated in numerous interdisciplinary researches that aimed to characterize the processes of ecosystems transformations due to agricultural and mining activities, in Guyana and Brazil. Within the framework of the AMAZ project (ANR 2006), he coordinated the group aiming to assess the soil ecosystem services. The present study is based on this dataset.
