Using an original cartographic technique combining coloured layers, the article presents the vote density map for the second round of the French presidential election of 2022. This cartography offers an alternative to electoral cartograms, keeping the usual location and shape of the territories while highlighting the electoral weight of the different areas of the country. Various maps of the results of the 9th February 2014 Swiss vote “Against mass immigration” have been used in the debate that followed it.
