Katia Canova

Architect and urban planner, with a bachelor's and master's degree from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), specialist in local planning and management at PUC-Campinas and doctor in human geography from the Faculty of Philosophy, Literature and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH -USP). She is a researcher associated with Lab-Quapá and the rhizome Chôros. She was part of the group in charge of the design of the strategic master plan (2014), the zoning (2016) and the regional plans of the boroughs of São Paulo. This group represents civil society in the Transport and Traffic Commission of the Municipal Mobility and Transportation Secretariat of the City of São Paulo.
